The Secondary and Further Education Group – previously known as the Curriculum and Assessment Group – is one of the RSC’s many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC’s strategy and charter.
To promote and develop the teaching and learning of chemistry, both academic and work-based, to 11-19+ year olds in secondary schools and 6th form/FE Colleges. Also to interface with teachers and academics for the primary to secondary transition, and secondary to HE transition.
If you are a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, you are entitled to join a number of Interest Groups for free. If you would like to join the Secondary and Further Education Interest Group, and receive the latest news and updates directly, please contact the RSC Membership Department with:
- your name
- your RSC membership number
- the name of this group (Secondary and Further Education SaFE)
Your membership of the Interest Group helps to support our activities – the more members we have, the more we can do to support Chemistry teachers and educators. Any queries about membership go directly to the RSC Membership Department at the link above.
